The AuctionServices.com Team brings over 100 years of combined computer and Internet expertise to the website and technology development process.

We work with customers to provide a systematic and methodical, yet agile and rapid, approach to our award-winning website design and custom programming. In addition, we offer first-class customer service and support on all of our products and services.

  • Nancy Romanus – President & CEO

Nancy founded AuctionServices.com in 1994 with her husband, the late Richard Romanus, Sr. They both came from an auction background. An expert in graphic design applications and web development applications, Nancy takes the lead in working with our designers on web development projects.

She has a firm grasp of site functionality needs and capabilities, as well as a keen eye for aesthetic design. Nancy has a BA in Music from the University of Tennessee.

  • Stuart Bain – VP and Chief Technology Officer

Stuart joined the AuctionServices.com team in 2002, to maintain the network infrastructure and servers. Over time, Bain’s responsibilities grew as additional programming and technology needs surfaced within AuctionServices.com.

As CTO, Stuart now oversees all Information Technology resources and programming efforts in addition to providing customer service, technical support, strategic direction, education, and training. Bain has worked with computers since the mid-1980′s and studied Computer Science and Business Administration at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech) and American Sentinel University.

  • Tammy Moore – VP and Chief Duct Tape

Tammy joined the AuctionServices.com team in 2006, as Marketing Manager, overseeing the auction marketing department.

Moore holds a BA in Communications from Lyon College in Batesville, Arkansas, with more than 20 years experience in promotions, marketing, media, graphic design, web development and administrative services.

  • Clif McCormick – Web Design Project Manager

Clif joined AuctionServices.com in 2009. As Web Design Project Manager, he coordinates our team members and clients to ensure that all projects run smoothly.

Clif has extensive experience in web design/development and client/developer coordination. Need a design that will make you stand out from the crowd? Want to give a new look and feel to an existing website with redesign? Need a content management system or other tools or add-ons?

  • Rob Morris – VP and Chief Financial Officer

Rob joined the Auctionservices.com team in April, 2007, as Chief Financial Officer. With over 30 years of experience, Rob’s responsibilities are to concentrate on implementing, maintaining, improving and overseeing all of the accounting functions of the organization.

He is responsible for handling and providing guidance in all financial matters of the Company whether for our customers or other business-related affairs.

  • Brian Pait – Customer Support Manager

Brian joined the AuctionServices.com team in 2008 to take over as the main contact for technical support as well as customer service needs. Brian is your first line of contact with AuctionServices.com. Being a very technically adept individual, Brian will help you solve most problems personally or make the necessary arrangements to get you connected with the person in charge of that given need.

Brian’s major areas of expertise include: product support/training, email server administration, and coordinating customer needs.

  • Ted Metzger – Account Executive

Ted joined the AuctionServices.com team in March 2010. He works with our current client base as well as new customers to help them gain visibility and improve their revenues through the use of the many marketing programs being created by our marketing staff. He’s ready to work with you to help you be successful!

Ted comes from a 25+ year background in sales, sales management and product management working with such companies as Clairol, Penton Media (Blue Book Publisher) and as a account rep for a Xerox dealership. Ted graduated from the University of Kentucky and has a degree in Business Administration. He’s lived in Louisville, Oklahoma City, Kansas City and now Roanoke where he enjoys hiking the mountain trails.

  • Greg Aplin – Account Executive

Greg joined Auction Services as a contractor in 2010, and joined the team full time in October of 2011. He works with our client base on finding creative ways of marketing not only their auctions but themselves as well.

Greg majored in Journalism-Radio/TV and minored in music at Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky. He has over 30 years of communications, media management, and advertising experience in broadcasting, city/county government, politics, government contractors, and the auction industry. In addition, he has many years of award-winning graphic design and layout experience. He is married to a charming and delightful woman, enjoys cooking (and eating), and competes in autocrossing and other motorsports.
