Phishing Attempts

Posted: June 11, 2010 | Categories : News & Notices

We have noticed a rise in phishing attempts over the last 24 hours. If you receive an email that looks like the following, do NOT attempt to open the attachment.

  • If you are using Google Apps hosted email, click on the down arrow beside the reply button and look for the link that says “report phishing.”
  • This tells Google that the email is a suspected phishing attempt so they can investigate.
  • It also removes the email to your spam folder.

Dear Customer,

It will have an attachment called open.html (or some other name). Again, do NOT attempt to open this attachment.
